Yankees Tickets – Too Close to Call

by on September 11, 2010 updated April 19, 2014

As the MLB season trudges on to the final straightaway it appears that New York Yankees tickets will once again be at the forefront of the AL East. Barely. After winning a World Series the New York Yankees looked to have hit their stride, having built a team that could contend for the next few years. It might still be that way. But the Yankees are in no way dominating the American League, holding a meager 2-game advantage over the Tampa Bay Rays as of this writing.

Essentially this means that the Yankees are fighting for every inch they can. The AL East isn’t locked up and neither is a Wild Card spot. Mid-September to the end of the month will be a key factor in determining who represents this division in the playoffs. With a three-game stand against the Rays in Tampa and another 4-game stand back in Yankee Stadium yet to be played, the AL East is open for whoever has the moxie to take it.
