OK, Yankees ticket holders, September is over. You can stop biting your nails about how your team is entering the postseason struggling on the mound and losing momentum. Now that the new month of October has rolled around, the New York Yankees have found a groove. The bats are cranking out the hits with new and old faces swinging, the pitches are crossing the plate in zany ways, and the New York Yankees have just swept the Minnesota Twins. Feels like fall doesn’t it?
For the rest of the MLB it must seem uncanny how New York can manage to rally in the post-season. For the last few years the Yankees have lost all hope, then found it again once things get down to the nitty gritty. It is not too early or out of reason to see the New York Yankees in a World Series in 2010.
