World Series Tickets – Gearing Up

by on October 20, 2010 updated October 21, 2010

It’s that time of year when MLB fans have nothing on their minds but World Series tickets. As of right now it looks like the New York Yankees won’t be attending the party. The defending World Series Champions have laid a big goose egg in their series with the Texas Rangers. The Rangers are basking in the glow of their first playoff series win and look ready to coast into their second. It’s gonna take a big turnaround for the Yankees to keep playing.

Update – new York pulled off a 7-2 win today so the series is now 3-2 and there’s hope in Yankeesville.

Meanwhile the Philadelphia Phillies, another early favorite, trail the San Francisco Giants by a games at 2-1 and need a big game from Joe Blanton to even things up. As I’m writing this Philadelphia has opened up a 1-0 lead.
