Vikings Tickets – Favre Takes a Pass

 Well, it was a pretty easy guess to say that Favre wouldn’t be at the first Minnesota Vikings pre-season game with the St. Louis Rams. The Vikings will probably spend most of the pre-season working to convince themselves that winning with Tarvaris Jackson is possible. If they can’t do that they are in trouble if Brett Favre decides to retire. But I’m banking that Favre shows up in time to don the Purple for the NFL season opening Vikings vs Saints game. Favre has shown his age and his aversion to taking anymore of a beating if he’s not actually involved in an NFL game where something is at stake. Why put himself through teh rigors of training camp when he doesn’t have to win a position? Some say this is wrong, others that he’s earned a break. That’s for Minnesota Vikings fans to decide.
