The SEC ticket of the year is …

Mississippi State at Ole Miss on Nov. 23.
The Bulldogs are loaded, and the Rebels are on the rise. Indeed, the annual Egg Bowl promises to be all-out slugfest between two of the SEC’s premier programs.
If you think I’m serious, quit drinking immediately. For that matter, maybe I should, too.
But, first, I’m going to kick off my weeklong series of the premier college football tickets for each conference. Let’s begin with the conference that everyone believes is the best every year, the SEC.
As far as teams worthy of national title consideration, this year’s SEC doesn’t compare to last year.
Florida, the defending champion, lost tons, but is still the team to beat in the East. Look for a solid, but unspectacular Georgia team to contend, but the rest of the West is average at best. Kentucky may just be the third best team out there.
The East, on the other hand, is stacked, and that’s where we find the top SEC football ticket of the season.
LSU’s date with its former coach, now Alabama frontman Nick Saban, surely will garner some interest. But the best two teams in the SEC will face off a few weeks later in Baton Rouge, when Heisman favorite Darren McFadden leads the Arkansas Razorbacks into Death Valley for a showdown with the Tigers on Nov. 23.
