The Masters and The Myth

by on April 11, 2008 updated April 11, 2008

With all the talk of Tiger Woods invincibilty and his betting parlor odds against the rest of the field, things aren’t panning out that way at The Masters. Justin Rose has taken a 1st Round lead, not an unusual event. But Woods trailing the pack isn’t even the biggest story, though his mystique if being unbeatable is in jeapordy. The biggest story in golf right now is the hole-in-one by Ian Poulter, the 19th such shot in the long history of The Masters. Is Woods still in it? Can he come from behind and win the jacket again? You betcha.
