The Hot Tickets of August

by on August 6, 2007 updated August 10, 2007

Sports Tickets – Everyone is looking to be there when Barry Bonds breaks the record. That makes San Francisco Giants tickets THE TICKET for the week. The Giants take on the Washington Nationals in a four game series in San Francisco so this could be the week Bonds shatters the mark.

Golf your bag? Then you know PGA Championship tickets are the hot item in the world of the little white ball and the 19th hole. Pack your bags and head for Oakland Hills Country Club and a chance to see the greats of the greens.

Concert Tickets – Kenny Chesney tickets anywhere in the West. Chesney hits Bonner Springs, KS on Aug. 9th, Maryland Heights, MO on the 10th, and he’s in Illionois on the 11th. For the bigger venues try Kenny Chesney tickets for the show at Cincinnati’s Riverbend Music Center on the 16th or Detroit’s Ford Field on Aug. 18th.

Tennis Anyone? U.S. Open tickets are still to be had. Flushing Meadows still hosts the best tennis tournament ever. Scheduled for Aug. 27th through Sept. 9 the U. S. Open will leave you exhausted and anticipating more in 2008.

You’ve still got time to score Justin Timberlake tickets for the Boston Show at TD Banknorth Gardens on Aug 10th but don’t fool around. Failing that, go for broke and catch Justin at Madison Square Gardens where he’ s scheduled for two nights (Aug. 15th and 16th).

Theater Tickets – If you haven’t caught The Lion King on stage, now’s  the time. Charlotte, North Carolina and the Belk Theatre will be hosting this classic through Aug. 19th. Combine that late summer vacation with a theater experience for the family. A sure fire winner.
