Sox Net Rays – World Series Run?

by on October 11, 2008 updated April 19, 2014

It seems the Boston Red Sox may be on their way to another World Series. Game 1 played out as a tough battle on the Tampa Bay Devil Rays home field, but home field was the only thing Tampa Bay owned. A 2-0 win with clutch pitching by Dice-K has the Red Sox ahead in the series, no small event when you consider they’ve already their first victory in the opponents stadium under their belt. Do it again and they’ll be in the Devil Rays heads when they get back to Boston.

On the other side the Philadelphia Phillies may already be inside the Los Angeles Dodgers head after going up 2-0 in the series, partly based on…get this… a 3 for 3 performace at the plate by pitcher Brett Myers. It’s looking more and mre like the Sox and the Phillies in the World Series.
