Saints at Ravens Tickets – Keeping Hope alive

by on December 18, 2010 updated December 18, 2010

Saints vs Ravens tickets should serve up a heaping spoonful of NFL drama. Both the New Orleans Saints and the Baltimore Ravens are in the thick of the playoff race. Right now the Baltimore Ravens are running a game behind the Pittsburgh Steelers for the AFC north title. They can’t afford to stumble. The Saints are trailing the Atlanta Falcons by a game and need some help to win the NFC South.

The Ravens and Saints are an intriguing matchup. This contest will feature a Saints offense that has been among the best in the NFL for five years now. Drew Brees is playing well and has the benefit of some returning starters at the right time of year. Running back Chris Ivory has been carrying the load in the running agme and leads all rookie running backs in yardage. But last season’s hero, Pierre Thomas, came back last week after missing eight game and looks ready to assume a major role in the race for the Super Bowl. Of course, Marques Colston, reggie Bush, Lance Moore and Jeremy Shockey, along with Saints rookie wunderkind Jimmy Graham won’t hurt.

But New Orleans will be facing one of the best defenses in the NFL against the Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis is always tough and the Ravens tend to physically beat most teams. In 2010 though, Baltimore has seen a chink in their armor when it comes to holding a lead. That’s bad news against a Saints offense that’s been called lightning in a bottle. The chink in the Saints armor? Turnovers. On their Super Bowl run the Saints got them. In 2010 they’re giving them up. Whichever team plays mistake free football will walk away with this one.
