2013 Pro Bowl tickets are currently available for the Jan 27th game in Hawaii. If you’ve never been to the Pro Bowl, grab your tickets now. It’s one of the better NFL experiences around, especially since they moved the game back where it belongs. There’s also the creeping feeling that Pro Bowl tickets are on their way to extinction. It’s quite likely that sometime in the future the Pro Bowl will be abandoned. This may be one of your last chances to enjoy this celebration.
So what will you get to see in the 2013 Pro Bowl? It’s more a question of who you’ll see. The Pro Bowl lineup this season features some new faces, some old faces, and more than one rookie who’s going to be a force in the future.
On the NFC side, Robert Griffin III, the Redskins sensational new quarterback, will be playing in his first Pro Bowl. More familiar names are Matt Ryan of the Falcons, along with his Tight End Tony Gonzales, who is probbaly making his last appearance. Then there’s Aaron Rodgers of the Packers, and Demarcus Ware of the Cowboys. From the NFC West come five, count them, five, Kansas City Chiefs and the 49ers Frank Gore, along with the Seahawks Marshawn Lynch.
Toss in Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings, who’s made a fantastic comeback, and Calvin Johnson of the Detroit Lions, who’s rewriting the record books as a wide receiver, and you’ve got the makings of a fine NFC squad in the 2013 Pro Bowl. We’ll review the AFC in our next article.
