Powerhouse Dolphins Newest AFC Giant?

by on October 6, 2008 updated October 6, 2008

Is the really the Miami Dolphins? After a miserable 1-15 season and the usual house cleaning, few would have expected the Miami Dolphins to be anything but mediocre in 2008. But The Fish, and The Big Tuna, have set the NFL world on its ear by beating, in succesive weeks, get this….The New England Patriots and the San Diego Chargers. Yes, the lowly Dolphins are beginning to assert themselves in the AFC. Where does it go from here? Well, Miami still has a schedule that includes rematches with the Patriots and the Chargers. BUT, they’ve also got games with the Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, and St. Louis Rams. So the way I see it and 8-8 season isn’t out of reach. Believe me, if Miami can play .500 ball it would be the best turnaround ever engineered by Bill Parcells.
