The Pittsburgh Steelers are on one heck of a roll. Or at least Ben Roethlisberger is on a heck of a roll. In each of the last two games Big Ben (I call him Big Ben because I hate to type out Roethlisberger) has thrown for 6 touchdown passes. Yes, that’s twelve touchdowns in two games, a new record surpassing the old one of 11 set by Tom Flores.
Last night Ben Roethlisberger took advantage of the Baltimore Ravens. The previous week it was the Colts that got burned. The latest win puts the Steelers at 6-3 and technically in second place in the AFC North as the Bengals are on a bye week and 5-2-1. With the New York Jets and Tennessee Titans coming in the next two weeks, Pittsburgh is in good position to be 8-3 before their bye week. After that it gets tougher with the New Orleans Saints at home and the Bengals on the road.
