 It’s that time of year again, the time when MLB teams with a real shot the postseason start loading up on talent to make the big push. Right now the Philadelphia Phillies are a mere pair of games behind the Atlanta Braves and can use the extra help over the course of the season. Sometimes grabbing that guy works out in the long run and sometimes it doesn’t. But you gotta try. Running basically neck and neck for the division lead is powerful motivation to pull the trigger. Hopefully the trade for Roy Oswalt will make the difference for the Phillies and postseason baseball can thrive in the City of Brotherly Love.
