The 2013 Sugar Bowl will explode on the city of New Orleans on Jan 2nd 2013, as it does every college football season. The 2013 Sugar Bowl features the Florida Gators and the Louisville Cardinal, a matchup between the SEC and the Big East sure to get your juices flowing.

The Florida Gators ran rampant through their college football schedule, finishing at 11-1 and 7-1 in the SEC. Florida gets the nod for the 2013 Sugar Bowl by virtue of the #3 ranking in the college football polls and the placement of Alabama in the BCS National Championship.

The Louisville Cardinal find themselves Sugar Bowl bound after going 10-2 overall and 5-2 in the Big East, where they won their conference championship. No stranger to BCS Bowl bids, the Cardinal are ranked #21 in the nation and run perhaps the most explosive offense in college football.

In addition to the Sugar Bowl, college football fans find themselves in New Orleans fairly often. new Orleans has hosted the BCS National Championship and on several occasions the Mercedes Benz Superdome plays host to other major sporting events such as the Super Bowl and Final Four.

Sugar Bowl visitors will find good food, great music, and culture like no other in America. The people of New Orleans throw the biggest party in the country every year at Mardi Gras but you’ll find they love a good time all year long.
