Once Again – Nobody Named Norv

by on November 18, 2008 updated April 19, 2014

The San Diego Chargers are once again proving my theory that Nobody Named Norv will be successful in the NFL and win a Super Bowl. While I had to do a little sweating last season as the Chargers made a spectacular run, my theory was proved in the end. This season the Chargers have barely been in the picture and now trail the Denver Broncos by two games in the AFC West. Seriously, this is a team with talent, a great quarterback, and a running back that’s maybe slipping but stil above average. Turner’s inability to propel the Chargers into the Super Bowl may prove to be his undoing by the end of this season, especially if San Diego finishes below .500, a real possibility.
