Nod to Nadal – This Could Be It

 Rafael nadal has been a contender at the U.S. Open for the last few years but has never been able to eat the whole enchilada. Frustrated year after year Nadal has pegged this U.S. Open as his. He came a step closer yesterday with a victory over Denis Istomin, a win that puts him within striking reach of the finals. Although Nadal has been the winner of eight major tournaments and has a Grand Slam within striking distance, the U.S. Open has never been a feather in his cap. That could change in 2010.
