The Boston Bruins will be working to go just a little further than they did last season after a tough exit from the playoffs. Boston took advantage of the shortened season to wedge their way past the 1st Round only to find themselves on the short end of a tough Game 6 against the Chicago Blackhawks. With a full NHL season ahead, Boston Bruins tickets are looking good for a year of tough hockey and a shot at post-season glory.
The Bruins like their roster last season but that didn’t stop them from trying to get better. In the NHl that means changes and giving something up. The new faces on the ice for the Bruins include winger Loui Erikson, forward Matt Fraser, and Joe Morrow, the latter a very highly regarded young player Boston hopes to develop and keep around for awhile.
The Boston Bruins are looking to improve their defensive play in the 2013-14 season and Zdeno Chara will continue to be a big part of that defense. Somewhere along the line though Boston must find some younger players who can bring the muscle alongside Chara and fans will be watching Joe Morrow, Matt Bartkowski, and Tommy Cross to see which of the youngsters can help in the cause.
