Tennessee Titans Tickets – 2014 Tickets and Preview
The Tennessee Titans are taking this winning thing seriously. They proved that by picking Ken Whisenhunt as head coach. The former Steelers coach has a Super Bowl ring and another NFC Championship ring so he looks like an NFL coach that can get it done. He took Arizona to a Super Bowl didn’t he?
Whisenhunt believes in the basics, like having an offensive line. The Titans should have a good one in 2014, with a collection of high draft picks and Pro Bowl names lining up in front of Jake Locker. Speaking of Locker, he obviously has not lived up to the high hopes he brought when he was drafted #1. 2014 will be a make or break year for Jake Locker as he plays out his contract and either proves himself a bust or earns a look from another team.
The 2014 Titans schedule isn’t overwhelmingly tough. The AFC South portion is doable, with perhaps the exception of the Indianapolis Colts. Certainly Jacksonville and Houston aren’t powerhouses. Cincinnati, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and the Jets and Giants probably pose the biggest obstacles on the 2014 schedule. The Tennessee Titans can make the playoffs if Jake Locker can get things going and if Defensive Coordinator ray Horton can piece together a middle of the road unit from the scraps. 9-7, or even 8-8 and a Wild Card spot, would be a big step in the right direction for the Tennessee Titans.
