Seattle Seahawks – 2014 Tickets and Preview
The Seattle Seahawks came through the ordeal of winning a Super Bowl in fine style. Most NFL teams will disintegrate before the Lombardi Trophy has a chance to gather dust. The fact that Seattle Seahawks ticket holders can still wake up and see their team as favorites to return to the championship game is a tribute to the depth and youth the Seahawks assembled over three seasons.
None of this means Seahawks tickets are a sure thing. They are however, as close to a sure thing as you can get to a playoff lock. Seattle lost some talent along the offensive line, and receiver Golden Tate took a hike elsewhere, but the team that posted a 35-point blowout in the Super Bowl is still there. Russell Wilson is still under center, Marshawn Lynch will be doing the running, and Richard Sherman returns as the shutdown corner. If Percy Harvin is healthy and returns to form the Seahawks offense will be even better.
Looking over the Seattle Seahawks 2014 schedule, there are no teams the Seahawks shouldn’t beat. The fickle world of the NFL means they won’t go undefeated though. Key matchups are once again with the San Francisco 49ers, home and away, and the Arizona Cardinals, who more than held their own last season, could pull another surprise. The Green Bay Packers, who open the season in Seattle on Thursday Night Football, will be an immediate challenge, as will the Denver Broncos (hopefully) and the Philadelphia Eagles.
