NFL – Best Tickets for Week 2

by on September 11, 2013 updated September 11, 2013

The NFL enters Week 2 and there are some good matchups on the slate. It’s early yet, but that doesn’t mean these games won’t loom large on the overall standings. Here are some prime ticket opportunities if you’re a late ticket buyer looking for good NFL action.

NY Jets at New England Patriots – The Patriots are facing some injury problems. And even with a full slate of players they were pushed to the limit by the Buffalo Bills. Granted, Buffalo is a better team that they have been of late, but they’re not an elite NFL club just yet. As much turmoil as the Jets have seen in the offseason they managed to beat Tampa Bay. If New England can’t defend their turf against the Bills because Brady has no reliable receivers on the field, this has all the makings of a major upset.

San Francisco at Seattle Seahawks – The biggest NFC West battle to date comes early in the season. These are two teams with plenty of votes for Super Bowl status. Both are coming off of solid wins and the rivalry aspect can’t be denied. The winner here has a clear advantage in the NFC West and could use this game as a springboard for bigger and better things. There’s also the added attractions of watching two of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL, both dynamic, athletic, and with a knack for making the big play when things look hopeless. Don’t miss this one if you have any chance at all of being there.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals – The Steelers are reeling from last week’s loss and more importantly the loss of key players. This is a good chance for the Bengals to gain the upper hand in the division against an old enemy. Its going to be very interesting to see how Pittsburgh operates when Ben Roethlisberger could be running for his life.
