NFL Tickets Week 2 – Hunting the Big Game

by on September 11, 2008 updated September 11, 2008

All eyes will be on New York on Sunday as the New England Patriots take on the New York Jets. This game has now become a litmus test for the Patriots and an opportunity for the rest of the AFC to get a handle on how New England will play in the absence of Tom Brady. Of course, the Jets aren’t the toughest squad around, despite the hoopla and presence of Brett Favre. Overall, new England has more talent than the Jets and probably better coaching. But the uncertainty that comes with Brady sitting on the sidelines, the bad blood of Spygate, and the animosity between the two teams make this a game to see.

The Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys is another biggie. Both teams looked good in the season opener. A classic NFC East matchup, the Cowboys and Eagles will both be looking to get that first division win. The Cowboys, now pegged as the NFC’s top Super Bowl contender, are on the hot seat to win and win big. Philly has nothing to lose and everything to gain.
