NFL Tickets – Saints and Colts Still Unbeaten

by on November 9, 2009 updated November 9, 2009

There are still two unbeaten teams in the NFL and it hasn’t been easy. NFL fans with Indianapolis Colts tickets are riding a 17-game regular season winning streak. For Manning and the Colts that’s not an unusual thing. The Colts have been one of the last teams to suffer a loss for several years now. Somehow the prolific quarterback and his wide receivers always seem to pull the fat out of the fire. The latest yank was a 20-17 win over the Houston Texans, a game that had Indianapolis trailing in the 4th qurter before Manning engineered a touchdown drive. Still, it took a missed field goal of only 40 yards for the Texans to fall.

While being undefeated this late in the season may be routine for Indianapolis, it’s anything but normal for the New Orleans Saints. The Black and Gold are also 8-0, the only undefeated team in the NFC. And it has been one hell of a ride. The Saints went to Miami and got down by three touchdowns only to rally for the win. they faced the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football and barely escaped with a win, coming from behind once again. Finally this Sunday, the Carolina Panthers posted a 14 point deficit on the Saints. Again, New Orleans lit up the second half and won by 10. It’s been said that the mark of a good team is winning when you’re not playing your best. If that’s the case, the Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints are good teams.

Naturally, the football world is ful of hype about which team can finish the regular season with a goose egg in the loss column. I presonally would rather go 12-4 and win a Super Bowl than finish 16-0 and not win the biggest game of all. Sometimes a stone in your shoe can hurt, but you’ll fix the problem before going on your way. As mush as the Colts and Saints have been winning, they’re not perfect, but they’ll need to be later in the season.
