NFL Tickets – Perusing the NFC

by on October 13, 2008 updated April 19, 2014

Man, what a weekend for the NFC. Two of the better games of the season. First, the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys gave us one of the closest games of the season. The Cardinals take a 10 point lead with a little ver three minutes left. Game over right? Nope. A great run by Marion Barber and one field goal later and we’re in overtime. Then, after giving up 10 unanswered points, the Cardinals defense rises to the moment and seals the deal with a blocked punt in OT.

The Atlanta Falcons and Chicago Bears waged another epic battle. After scoring the go ahead touchdown with 11 seconds on the clock Chicago celebrated. 11 seconds, one pass and one field goal later that good feeling evaporated in a 22-20 loss. It’s hard to believe but the Atlanta Falcons have found a kid that can make all those nightmares of Michael Vick go away. Ryan has been poised in the clutch and the new atmoshere in Atlanta is a good one.

Across the country the Seattle Seahawks have had it. Best to just let Jim Mora take over now and start the rebuild. Arizona has a two game lead in the NFC West and Seattle doesn’t seem to have the will to win. Close contests in the NFC East and NFC South make these two dvisions impossible to predict at this point.
