NFL Tickets, NFL Talks, and Power Trips

by on February 24, 2011 updated February 24, 2011

If you’re like me, you think the whole things is stupid. Let’s face it, If I had to sit down and figure out how to divide up a few billion dollars I think I could be happy with my end of it. Is there anyone in the NFL not doing better than your average Joe on the street? If there is I haven’t seen him yet. But, the NFL tickets that I and millions of other enjoy are being held hostage.

It looks like that could change though, as the owners and players are now sitting down with a mediator. Kind of like a Kindergarten teacher that talks to her students when they fight. Like that.

But I guess if I had to choose sides I’d have to roll with the players. They’re the guys that make NFL tickets special. They’re the faces of the NFL, and they’re the guys who may have to face severe physical pain for the rest of their lives. The owners are owners and deserve to make a profit. But since they have a virtual monopoly on the whole game of football, it’s hard for me to envision how they can’t be making money. Especially since they won’t open the books.  So yeah, let’s mediate this thing, make the bad kid go stand in the corner, and get our NFL tickets printed up right away.
