NFL Schedule and Tickets

When: Fri April 17 2015 00:00 - Sat December 31 2016 00:00

NFL tickets bring good times and bad times, blowouts and squeakers. I’m going to tip you off to what I think my be the sleeper NFL tickets of the week and by that I don’t mean a game you’ll snooze through. I’m talking about a shocker of a game.

But first, some news from around the league.

Richie Incognito, of Miami Dolphins fiasco fame, has been cleared to play. Completely cleared. Incognito could suit up for a team looking to improve their offensive line, and there are a few NFL teams out there that need it.

Wes Welker of the Denver Broncos faces a tough decision. The wide receiver has now sustained three concussions in less than a calendar year. Certainly, retirement has to be part of the discussion.

Speaking of the Broncos: I’m just a little disturbed that the NFl is making Broncos punter Matt Prater sit out four games when Ray Rice gets two for beating the crap out of a woman? What?

The Pittsburgh Steelers would have to be stoned not to suspend Le’Veon Bell and LeGarrette Blount wouldn’t they?

Matt Cassel will start for the Minnesota Vikings on opening week, leaving Teddy Bridgewater to hold the clipboard. Cassel has been steady in the preseason, completing 26 of 39 passes for two touchdowns and an INT.

And now, the sleeper of the week. I’m going to go out on a limb here and predict an opening day win for the Cleveland Browns in Pittsburgh. I don’t know why but I’m just not seeing Pittsburgh as all that strong. Plus, they should be missing a pair of running backs who got lost on the way to White Castle.
