NFL Football Tickets

NFL tickets get more interesting toward the end of the year. Most of them anyway. Of course there will be some games between teams headed nowhere. But there will also be games between NFL team that may not make the playoffs against team with a vested interest in winning, spoiler games you might say, in which a team can alter the playoff prospects of another NFL team. As an example, the New Orleans Saints have only a meager chance of winning a playoff berth but this week they could severely damage the Dallas Cowboys by beating them in their own stadium. Then there’s the best games of all, games between two teams actually battling each other for something concrete. We find that this week in the NFC West where the Seattle Seahawks will take on the San Francisco 49ers.

The Seahawks could be the hottest team in the NFC coming into this game. Winners of their last three, and five out of their last six, the Seattle Seahawks find themselves in position to win the NFC West. They’re running slightly behind the division leading 49ers with a head to head match coming on Sunday. Both of these teams feature young quarterbacks who could be on the verge of moving into NFL prominence.

For the Seahawks it’s Russel Wilson, a rookie quarterback who was handed the starting job even after Seattle spent big money to bring in Matt Flynn. Wilson has performed well all season, his ability to gain yardage on the ground complimenting a savvy feel for the passing game. He’s managed to avoid injury and more importantly, avoid making the foolish mistakes that young quarterbacks tend to make. And he’s on a hot streak.

The 49ers on the other hand, found Colin Kaepernick after Alex Smith went out with a concussion. Given the opportunity, Kaepernick has kept Smith on the bench by displaying enough pure athleticism to convince San Franciso that he’s got a huge upside, much more so than Smith. he’s made some mistakes, but his ability to create something good when the play breaks down keeps him under center in San Francisco.

Now the Seahawks and 49ers will meet up on Sunday in a game that could help determine the NFC West Champion and playoff seedings. A meaningful game with two of the best young quarterbacks in the league make this game the most interesting game in the NFL this week.
