I love my NFL tickets and I love to look around the league and pick out the NFL Tickets of the Week. There are almost invariably one or two games that seem especially significant in one way or another. I’m having a hard time this week. Let’s look at some choice.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons – Both the Falcons and Bucs were supposed to be better this season. Atlanta was an odds on favorite to win the NFC South, cruise through the playoff, and finally reach a Super Bowl. The Falcons are 1-4. The Bucs were supposed to take a step up. They’re 0-5. Not much here.
Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins – This could be the NFL Tickets of the Week but while both teams need this win and it should be a good game it just isn’t turning my crank. Maybe because no matter what, the division appears to belong to New England.
Dallas Cowboys vs Philadelphia Eagles – Maybe now we’ve got something. In fact I’m going to go ahead and call this my NFL Tickets of the Week because of past history and the rivalry factor in the NFC East. Yes, the division sucks in the 2013 NFL season but it’s still the Eagles and Cowboys and there’s plenty to wonder about. Have the Eagles gotten on a steady track? Can Romo not blow it and incite the ire of his billions of critics? Can Foles win the job from Vick if he plays well?
