Cardinals Playoff Tickets

Should you be thinking about NFL playoff tickets for the Arizona Cardinals. I have to admit I have a soft spot for these guys, a franchise that has been downtrodden for more years than most and only recently began an upsurge that has carried them to the top of the NFC. It’s a pleasant surprise and it comes in the face of some adversity.

Arizona began the season 8-1, surprising everyone, especially those nasty teams from the West Coast named 49ers and Seahawks. In this division, the Cardinals were and after thought going in. Carson Palmer experienced a revival, lifting the Arizona offense with precision passing and veteran play. A knee injury ended Palmer’s season in a 31-14 victory over St. Louis and sent chills through the spine of Cardinals ticket buyers.

Since Drew Stanton took over the Cardinals are 3-2 and hanging on in a tough conference. Last night’s 12-6 win over the Rams was big. Now Arizona must finish with a home game against the resurgent Seahawks and a road trip to Seattle. The Seahawks are slated to play San Francisco this weekend. Should they prevail they will be only a single game behind Arizona, setting up a showdown for the NFC West next week. In any case, the Arizona Cardinals should be good for a playoff slot and I believe Cardinals fans should line up playoff tickets in the coming weeks.

Late Note: Drew Stanton went down with a knee injury against the Rams last night and that could alter the picture. Results of an MRI were expected today. Should the injury keep Stanton out, Arizona will choose between Ryan Lindley or rookie Logan Thomas. To be honest, Lindley didn’t look effective after taking over for Stanton in the third quarter. Cardinals fans should light a candle and hope Stanton can recover over the next 9 days.
