NFC Football – A Tangled Mess

by on November 17, 2010 updated April 19, 2014

The NFL loves parity and they’ve got it. NFL tickets are holding the prospect of the playoffs and a Super Bowl out to probably seven legitimate teams right now. Or at least they look legitimate. Over the next seven weeks we’ll find out who the pretenders are and who’s a legit threat to get into the show.

As much as it pains me to say it the Atlanta Falcons are a team that appears to have the moxie to make a run at it. At 7-2 the Falcons control their own destiny and have the best record in the NFC

Now comes the crowd. The New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles are at 6-3. The Eagles are definitely the hotter team.

In the NFC South the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New Orleans Saints are chasing Atlanta. Tampa Bay will benefit from an easy schedule. The Saints could get a boost from the return of Reggie Bush.

Over in the NFC North the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears are also at 6-3. I like the Pack to seperate from the rest of the crowd in this division.
