NBA Tickets – Picking the Eastern Conference

by on October 24, 2013 updated April 19, 2014

NBA tickets are ready to rock and roll their way through the 2013-14 NBA season and of course there are some question marks. It’s early yet but we thought we’d go out on a limb and pick out which teams we think will come out on top of their division. There are some tough choices and some dark horse. Unexpected events could derail some of these teams and raise others. But we’ll just have to grit our teeth and live with it.

Brooklyn Nets Win the Atlantic Division – The reasoning behind this pick is fairly simple. The Nets have added Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, not to mention Jason Terry. They’ve also brought in Jason Kidd to help coach. There’s not another team in the Atlantic Division that can has more to look forward to in the upcoming season.

Indiana Pacers Win the Central Division – The Pacers are still a powerhouse after almost winning the Eastern Conference last season. The roster is intact, the coaching staff is unchanged. Indiana will be in the hunt for not only a division title but a conference title and an NBA Championship. The Heat have some competition from this group.

Miami Heat Win the Southeast Division – No surprise here. Even opposing NBA GM’s agree that Miami is the team to beat in the Eastern Conference and the best bet to win another NBA Championship. If there’s any obstacle Miami faces it’s the aging of the team. Hopefully Dwyane Wade can get better and play more and the supporting cast can continue to contribute.

These three teams will be in the forefront for an Eastern Conference Championship.  If health allows. Predicting things this far ahead is a gamble, anything can happen. But if you can pick up NBA tickets to see any of these teams you’ve got a good bet to see real contenders.
