NBA Playoff Tickets – Spurs to face Trail Blazers

by on May 5, 2014 updated May 5, 2014

Looking to end their Game 7 blues from last year, the San Antonio Spurs were faced with a crucial game. Tied at 3-3 with the Dallas Mavericks, San Antonio managed to pull out a convincing 119-96 win last night. This has been a season of excellent !st Round games as lower seed have managed to push better teams to the limit. As is so often in the NBA, playoff tickets bring out the best in everyone.

Tony Parker woke up in this one. Parker scored 32 points, his playoff high, on 11-of 19 shooting and hit 10 of 13 free throws. Manu Ginobili scored 20 and Danny Green added 16. This was all Spurs from the beginning and stayed that was as San Antonio was up by 32 points during the game.

For their part, the Portland Trailblazers have also been pushed to the brink. The only thing standing between them and elimination is a lst second three-point shot put up by Damian Lillard. Otherwise, the Blazers would be at home. Portland, a 5th seed, finds itself playing in the second round of the Western Conference for only the first time in it’s last six appearance, their first in the playoffs in three years. The Portland Trailblazers are breaking new ground here.
