One of the strange things about being in Iraq is getting to watch NBA games while you’re eating breakfast. Since we’re nine hours ahead of the U.S., we get to watch our sports programming in the morning in the D-Fac. (That’s the new military terminology for mess hall.)
The other morning it was the Lakers loss to the Portland Trailblazers. Hopefully, early Monday will be the Lakers game against the Dallas Mavericks. Scrambled eggs, ham, orange juice, and the NBA, a winning combination.
