National League Neck and Necks

by on August 16, 2008 updated August 16, 2008

While a lot of attention has been focused on the Rays and Angels race for supremacy in the AL, the NL is where you might find some of the tightest races in the MLB. In the east, the New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies are sprinting to the finish with a single game separating the. The Cubs have good control in the NL Central but in the West the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Los Angeles Dodgers are straight up tied. watching the frontrunners battle it out for the best record in Major League Baseball is certainly fun, but the really interesting struggle may be in the trenches. and the real rewards come World Series time.
