The NASCAR tickets offering for the next few weeks offer some great races. Now that I’m back in the U.S. and not locked down in a bunker I’m considering some of my options. Here’s me derailed train of thought:
Toyota/SaveMart 350 tickets – I’d love to head out to Infineon Raceway for this one. California has a special appeal to me. Then again, my daughter just got back and said it was cold. I’m also afraid of being waylaid by the Governator to help alleviate the financial crisis.
Coke Zero 400 – Here’s my ultimate choice. First of all it’s at Daytona International Raceway and I love that place. Secondly, my wife is a beach bunny and It’s been a long time since I’ve admired her in a bikini. Oh Yeah, there’s a good race too.
Other Stuff – Ryan Leaf, former mishap of the San Diego Chargers, has made himself a potser child for Olympian NFL failure. It’s no crime to have a lackluster career in the NFL. Mine was also pretty bad since I never got within a million miles of it. Then again, I haven’t pocketed millions of dollars and then been busted for felonies yet. But there’s always hope.
It’s interesting the American League East, which used to be the sole province of the New York Yankees, has become so competitive. As I write this the Boston Red Sox lead by three games with another trio of teams no further away than 5. I also hear that the New Yankee Stadium is a home run heaven. I bemoan the loss of small ball.
