The NASCAR schedule for May is dishing out some fine races. I like this time of year, a time when you can go out to see a NASCAR race and not get brutalized by the sun. Most places are still on the cooler side of summertime temperatures and in some cases you may still need a long sleeve shirt. yes, I’m all for summer races, the kind where you have to keep the liquids flowing, if you know what I mean, but as I get older I’m learning to appreciate mild weather more and more. Without further adieu, here’s the May Schedule for NASCAR.
Showtime Summer 500 – Darlington Raceway, May 7th.
Fedex 400 – Dover International Speedway, May 15th
Sprint Showdown – Charlotte Motor Speedway, May 21st
NASCAR Sprint All Star Race – Charlotte Motor Speedway, May 21st
Coca Cola 600 – Charlotte Motor Speedway, May 29th
Obviously, North Carolina and Charlotte Motor Speedway is the place to be in May if you love NASCAR. And with beached and other attractions available, you can combine NASCAR time and family time, and make everyone happy.
