NASCAR in May begins with a Crown Royal Dustup

by on May 4, 2008 updated May 4, 2008

In a good begining to the NASCAR May schedule, Dale Earnhardt Jr. got cheated out of a win at the Crown Royal 400 when Kyle Busch tagged his rear bumper. Irate fans pelted the track with debris, causing a delay. It’s one of the things that endear me to NASCAR fans and sports fans in general. The right to toss things on the playing field is one of the most basic of human rights. Seriously, Busch and Earnhardt need to be featured on Celebrity Deathmatch.

More NASCAR to see in May:

Dodge Challenger 500 May 10th, Darlington Raceway

Sprint Showdown May 17th Lowes Motor Speedway

Coca Cola 600 May 25th, Lowes Motor Speedway
