MLB Tickets – 20 Inning Mets Prevail

by on April 19, 2010 updated April 19, 2014

Talk about getting your money’s worth out of MLB tickets. Fans who attended the 20 inning New York Mets vs St. Louis Cardinals got better than 2-1 for their buck. Lasting well into the night the Mets prevailed with a sacrifice fly be Jose Reyes. It was his seventh appearance at the plate and Reyes posted 0-7 numbers but did enough at the exhausting end to put New York over the top.

The 20 inning spectacle was the longest game in pro baseball since 2008.
