MLB Playoffs Underway

by on October 3, 2007 updated October 15, 2007

The Boston Red Sox know how to start off a playoff series. Try a Josh Becket shutout over the Los Angeles Angels. It’s the second post-seaon shutout in a row for Becket. Along the way the Sox got a home run from David Ortiz.

In the National League the Philadelphia Phillies pretty much watched the Colorado Rockies win the game, letting good pitches go by in key moments.

Tomorrow it’s the Yankees and Cleveland Indians in New York. Stay tuned. Everyone is hoping the whole American League thing will end up with a Yankees – Red Sox matchup.
