Madness in the Motor City

by on December 27, 2007 updated December 27, 2007

While you’re drooling over your Sugar Bowl tickets or your BCS National Championship Game tickets don’t forget to check out some of the “lesser” bowls.  One of those so called inferior post-season games may have just been the most exciting game of the seasn. The Motor City Bowl between Purdue and Central Michigan featured almost 100 points scored and a 21 point comeback, finally ending on a last second field goal. It’s that type of game that makes college football great. While we all focus on the big names, the lower ranked teams provide the real excitement. Wouldn’t being at the Motor City Bowl have been better than some f the top ranked blowouts we’re going to see come New Year?
