LSU Stands Up for Discipline

by on May 2, 2008 updated May 2, 2008

In an age where college football stars are pampered, protected, and given virtually a free reign, LSU Tigers Head Coach Les Miles has drawn the line. With his team in contention to compete for another BCS National Championship, Les Miles just kicked his best quarterback off of the team. Ryan Periloux, though loaded with talent, has always been a disciplinary thorn in the side of the LSU coaching staff. Absenteeism, brushes with law enforcement, and a general disdain for adhering to team rules now spells the end for the QB’s tenure at LSU.

Hats off to Les Miles for realizing there are responsibilities that go along with talent.
