Tune in Tuesday night to get an idea of whether the Los Angeles Lakers can be a force this season. The Lakers take on the San Antonio Spurs in San Antonio. So far it appears that Kobe Bryant has shaken off the bad karma generated in the offseason by rumors of his departure. Against the T-Wolves Bryant put up 30 points. But San Antonio is not the Spurs and time will tell how Bryant recats if the Lakers season begiins to unravel.
Meanwhile keep an eye on the New Orleans Hornets. If not for their unfortunate membership in the NBA Western Conference Pacific Division, New Orleans shows all signs of being a playoff caliber team (so far)
