The New Orleans Hornets may be the hottest team in the NBA right now. Or they may just be the streaky team of the year. I remember early on, watching the Hornets beat the Miami Heat, and thinking they were a tough team. Then of course, the New Orleans Hornets fell on some hard time, playing bad defense and stumbling offense.
But the team with the NBA’s newest head coach now looks to have found a groove. They’ve gone on a 10-win tear and looked good foing it. The Hornets win with defense and Chris Paul spreading the ball around. It’s a formula that has them moving up in the Eastern Conference and a mix that has the Hornets attempting to make franchise history with an 11th win against the Sacramento Kings.
But can the New Orleans Hornets keep it up? Or will they fade in the stretch the way they faded early in the season after a great start? Playing three out of their next four games on the road, the New Orleans Hornets still have something to prove.
