Hornets, Paul on a Roll

by on May 6, 2008 updated May 6, 2008

A few weeks ago I wrote that Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets could possibly be the MVP of the NBA Playoffs. I’m still in the running on that score. Paul has been very imressive, scoring in the double digits most games and handling the offense with ease. the Hornets now find themselves with a 2-0 lead over the San Antonio Spurs and facing the biggest postseason challenge yet: Handling the Spurs at home.

With decisive victories over San Antonio on their own home court, New Orleans has the definite mental advantage. Can San Antonio turn it around? Or will the Hornets be the surprise of the playoffs? Stay tuned.
