Goodbye Brett

 While I have called for the retirement of Brett favre a few times over the years, the reality of his recent announcement has caught me by surprise. Why? Because it comes after the one year of late that I think proved he’s still got it. The Green Bay Packers surprised everyone this year, and much of it was due to Favre’s play. I wish him well in his retirement and can only say that the NFL will be a poorer place for his absence.
