From Cubs tickets to Braves tickets in the blink of an eye

by on July 13, 2007 updated July 18, 2007

As a lifelong Cubs fan, I admit that I am no longer a Cubs fan. Technically, I believe that makes me dead. Oh well, I’m not sure I could prove that I was alive anyway. Can you?
Anyway … a trip to Wrigley Field with Chicago Cubs tickets had always been a dream of mine. But as my interest in baseball nose-dived, so did my patience with the Cubs. For Pete’s sake, the freakin’ Red Sox have won the World Series.
Meanwhile, the Cubs have been consistent, and that’s a good thing in most cases. The Cubs have consistently sucked, and it’s worn me out.
I now live in Atlanta and become a fan of Braves tickets. My friends call me a fair-weather fan, but I’m fine with that.
My question is when does it become OK to switch allegiances from one team to another?
