Denver Broncos Tickets – Gambling on Manning

Will Peyton Manning change the face of the Denver Broncos?

Denver Broncos tickets were pretty interesting last season as Tim Tebow became both the focus and the side story to an improbably successful season. Taking over after a 1-4 start, Tebow sent the Broncos on a winning streak that eventually propelled the Denver broncos into the playoffs where they knocked off the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round before bowing out. In the afterglow the Denver Broncos management seemed to be uncomfortable with a full commitment to Tim Tebow being their starting quarterback. There was however, some sense that he would be given plenty of tutelage under John Elway and enough time to become a “real” NFL quarterback.

Throw that out the window. Denver Broncos tickets, from all indications, will give Broncos ticket holders the chance to see Peyton Manning under center in the 2012 NFL season. Reports are coming out that after a whirlwind tour of the NFL Manning has tabbed Denver as his new home. Should this come to pass, and there’s no reason to think it won’t, the Broncos are taking a big gamble both with the health of Manning and the chance of possible repercussions from a fan base that has taken Tebow to heart. Should the Denver Broncos deal Tebow to another NFL team and Manning not play because of injury, or play poorly, the legions of Broncos ticket holders who supported their Florida Favorite Son will go absolutely insane.

That fervor may be why the move was made to begin with. No NFL GM wants to deal with a fanatical fan base of one particular player. Shipping him off, and doing it by bringing in a Hall of fame quarterback to do it, may provide John Elway with the easy out if things go awry. In any case the Denver Broncos will now become the focus of intense media scrutiny, making this the second season in a row where Denver Broncos tickets become much more interesting to NFL fans.
