The Dallas Cowboys continue to amaze me. For a team that is always considered to be playoff bound at the beginning of the NFL season, and more times than not Super Bowl contenders, they continually find ways to confound both their critics and their supporters. Cowboys ticket holders are always pumped up even in the worst of times, but a better roller coaster is not to be found in the NFL.
Currently the Dallas Cowboys are trailing in the NFC East by a single game. At 5-4, this is not where the fans who buy Dallas Cowboys tickets expected to be. Losses to the Philadephia Eagles and Detroit Lions, both NFC Playoff contenders, leave the Cowboys with few options other than to win the division outright. The Dallas Cowboys are probably behind the eight ball when it comes to tie breakers.
But the schedule gives Cowboys fans real hope. Dallas has dates with the Washington Redskins, Miami Dolphins, and Arizona Cardinals before meeting up with the New York Giants for a big divisional game with New York in Dallas. By that time, if they can win that trifecta, they’ll have a shot at taking over the NFC East and going into the playoffs with at least one home game in the Wild Card games.
