The Dallas Cowboys have gotten off to a rough start. At 2-0 in the NFC East you definitely have your back against the wall. But things got a little easier today as the Cowboys, heavy favorites to play a Super Bowl in their own backyard, polished off the Houston Texans 27-13 today in Houston. While not an amazing win, it does create and echo, a sigh of relief in Dallas, to see the Cowboys finally put one in the W column. Believe me, it would have been a long bye week if the Cowboys had gone 0-3.
Tony Romo fans were happy to see their hero toss a pair of touchdown passes and Marion Barber added another for good measure. While not out of the woods yet, at least Cowboys ticket holders can start thinking that maybe their team has gotten their wheels re-installed. With two weeks of prep time, the Cowboys should be ready for their next opponent, an improving Titans team, before moving on to the Minnesota Vikings and then the Jacksonville Jaguars.
