Colts Tickets – Uncertain Future

by on September 10, 2011 updated September 10, 2011

Indianapolis Colts tickets took a big hit this week as it was announced that Peyton Manning underwent another neck surgery and will be out for an indefinite amount of time. In fact, there has been some speculation that the surgery is career threatening and could spell the end of the Manning led regime. Bad news for Colts ticket holders, who have enjoyed an unprecedented string of winning seasons since the New Orleans native took the field in 1998.

During that time the Indianapolis Colts have routinely enjoyed double digit wins, multiple division championships ans playoff appearance, and two Super Bowl appearance with one Lombardi Trophy to show for it. Now the NFL will see what the Indianapolis Colts will do without Manning, a boon for the rest of the division for certain, but a definite minus for the rest of the NFL.

In his time with the Colts, Manning has been the face of the NFL, winning multiple MVP awards and becoming a familiar face with no lapses in behavior. His absence is a big loss for all of us. While it’s too early to call an end to things, the NFL will have a different feel without Manning and his Colts at the forefront.
