LSU Tigers – The folks at LSU have been waiting for a quarterback. The LSU secondary is maybe the best in college football but the offense has been stunted. Les Miles got a new coordinator and the big question now is whether Jordan Jefferson can elevate his game. If Miles doesn’t like the early results, transfer Zach Mettenberger could take the field.
Oregon Ducks – An early favorite the Oregon Ducks appeared to be set for a solid season. But recent NCAA trouble could derail the best Oregon Ducks team in years.
Oklahoma Sooners – An annual pick in the Top 10, the Oklahoma Sooners are still the class of the Big 12. They are talented and experienced, and a BCS National Championship is a real possibility.
Alabama Crimson Tide – Sorry, they’ll be good but no repeat.
Boise State Broncos – My dark horse favorite. If LSU can’t have it, I want Boise State. It’s just time for this program to get the respect they’ve already earned.
